HAWORTH, N.J.—On Saturday, April 27, the Borough of Haworth aims to make it really easy for garage sale pickers to have a field day with its annual Town-Wide Garage Sale, benefiting the Friends of the Haworth Library.
“Last year over 80 homes participated, and it’s expected that dozens will take part this year,” organizers told Northern Valley Press. “The Garage Sale starts at 9 a.m., and ends at 3 p.m., plenty of time to make the rounds and get a trunk full of bargains, all within Haworth’s 2-square-miles.”
A map designating the homes that are participating will be posted at haworthfriends.org on the day of the sale. Paper copies of the map will also be available at the Haworth Library and Haworth Apothecary. Haworth residents who wish to participate can register at haworthfriends.org or at the library—a $25 donation to the Friends of the Library earns your home a designation, and address, on the garage sale map. The registration deadline is Monday, April 22.
