WOOCCLIFF LAKE—Congratulations to the 9U Woodcliff Lake Warriors baseball team, which on Sunday, Nov. 14 played River Vale in the championship game at home and came out on top.
It was an exciting game with River Vale earning a run in the first inning. The Warriors responded with a run of their own. River Vale would score one more run and the Warriors would add five, for a final score of 6–2.
The Warriors ended their season with nine wins and a single loss.
Assistant coach Michael Fiorentino told Pascack Press on Nov. 23 that the team has become a family, and that River Vale was an impressive force all season.
Warriors are Jake Foster, Sebastian Carballo, Jake Siegel, Christian Churchill, Austin Teitelbaum, Chase Teitelbaum, Cole Rothstein, Sam Tukhin, Joesph Oliveri, Demetre Keenan, Anthony Fiorentino, and Jackson Heath.
Head coach is TJ Churchill. Assistant coaches are Jason Teitelbaum, Michael Fiorentino, and Doug Siegel.
