
HARRINGTON PARK, N.J.—On Oct. 27 at 12:43 a.m., a 21-year-old male from Westwood, New Jersey was arrested for possession of a substance believed to be marijuana. The arrest emanated from a motor vehicle stop on Old Hook Road initiated by Officer Michael Getto due to an unregistered motor vehicle.
Officer Getto observed a greenish brown vegetation within the vehicle during the traffic stop, which he believed to be marijuana.
The male operator was charged with the following offenses and released: possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; unregistered motor vehicle; failure to produce an insurance card for the vehicle; and possession of drugs within a motor vehicle, a motor vehicle offense.
