TEANECK, N.J.—Birding enthusiast and author Jim Wright is the featured guest on Don Torino’s “The Nature Connection” show on WFDU-FM, 89.1, on Sunday, July 27, from 6:30 to 7 a.m.
Wright [here’s his Muck Rack profile] is author of “The Screech Owl Companion” and large-format books about the New Jersey Meadowlands, Pennsylvania’s Hawk Mountain, Allendale’s Celery Farm Nature Preserve, and the largest rainforest in Central America.
He has penned “The Bird Watcher” column in The Record since 2009. Moreover he is deputy marsh warden of Celery Farm, a board member of Allendale’s Lee Memorial Library, and a former trustee of The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey.
(The author, too, of “The Real James Bond,” in May he announced that the Rare Book Department of the Free Library of Philadelphia would make available to researchers his collection of James Bond, Mary Bond, and Ian Fleming books and memorabilia he’d recently donated.)
Torino’s show is a monthly feature [here’s our report] on WFDU-FM, an oldies station based on the Fairleigh Dickinson University campus.
