MONTVALE, N.J.—Bergen County seniors can receive free, one-on-one help applying for state property tax relief programs Wednesday, Sept. 2, at the Montvale Senior Community Center.
Representatives from the New Jersey Division of Taxation will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions, explain available programs and help attendees complete application forms.
The event is being hosted by state Sen. Holly Schepisi and Assemblymen Robert Auth and John V. Azzariti Jr., all Republicans representing Bergen County.
Schepisi said the event is intended to help eligible residents understand the available programs and claim the relief for which they qualify.
The event is open to Bergen County seniors. No admission fee was announced.
