Celebrate Hanukkah with Temple Emanuel

Sheldon Low will entertain children and adults at Temple Emanuel’s Chanukah Alive with Music! concert on Dec. 17.

Chanukah Family Service and Concert – Dec. 15 — The Chanukah Family Service and Concert of Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley will be held on Friday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. The congregation will celebrate Chanukah, the defeat of the Assyrians by the Jews, who were led by Judah Maccabee and his brothers. The songs emphasize the lighting of the Chanukah menorah with its eight candles, the playing of the dreidel game, and the eating of potato pancakes called latkas. Adults and children are invited. The Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley Chanukah Family Service Concert is free and open to the public.

Chanukah Alive with Music! – Dec. 17
Chanukah Alive with Music! will be held at Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 10:45 a.m. Chanukah Alive with Music! will feature Sheldon Low entertaining children and adults of all ages. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required at http://goo.gl/PAgpjK or by calling the temple.
