To the editor:
I am writing in support of the re-election of Victoria Amatai and Joseph Yammarino to the Closter Council. Councilwoman Amatai and I are longstanding members of the Closter Planning Board; thus, I have worked closely with her for many years on planning issues that impact our community. Vicky epitomizes everything that is looked for in an elected official. Her impartiality, integrity and intelligence are beyond reproach. I have not known Councilman Yammarino as long or served with him in an official capacity, but, what I can state is that whenever Joe’s name comes up in conversation it is always in a most positive light. He has worked hard for Closter and is a credit to the governing body. Both Council members have earned re-election.
