PARAMUS—The Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey will kick off a summer of hands-on learning with DreamLab Discovery Day on Tuesday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Girl Scout DreamLab, 300 Forest Ave.
Designed for all girls entering kindergarten through third grade, the two-hour program invites participants to explore the DreamLab through creative maker activities, hands-on challenges, and interactive experiences. Organizers say the workshop is intended to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and friendship while introducing girls to the DreamLab’s innovation spaces.
The cost is $15 per participant.
The Discovery Day workshop is one of a series of summer programs open to both Girl Scouts and non-members. Throughout July and August, the DreamLab will offer sessions focused on engineering, media production, podcasting, culinary arts, 3D printing, design, entrepreneurship, and family activities.
The Girl Scout DreamLab is an interactive makerspace and innovation hub where girls can explore technology, arts, media, and leadership through hands-on experiences guided by educators and mentors.
