Harrington Park Police Issue 88 Traffic Violation Summonses During ‘UDrive.UText.UPay’

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J.—Law enforcement officers from the Harrington Park Police Department concluded New Jersey’s “UDrive. UText. UPay” enforcement campaign on April 21.

Members of the Harrington Park Police Department, in their effort to safeguard the motoring public, issued a total of 88 traffic violation summonses. 

“Summonses were issued for a variety of infractions, to include one driving while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor or drugs, four speeding violations, four summonses for operating a motor vehicle with suspended licenses, eight texting while driving summonses, one careless driving summons, and one summons for reckless operation of a motor vehicle,” Police Chief Albert Maalouf told Northern Valley Press.

The Harrington Park Police Department urges all motorists to drive with due caution, and to refrain from operating their motor vehicles in a manner which may endanger their safety and that of others.
