Hillsdale United Methodist Church will celebrate its 150th anniversary on Sunday, May 3, at 10 a.m., marking generations of faith, worship and service in the community.
The church, at the corner of Hillsdale and Magnolia avenues, is the oldest church in Hillsdale and one of the oldest churches in the Pascack Valley. Over the years, its congregation has built a tradition of serving the faith community as well as many other organizations throughout the Pascack Valley.
District Superintendent William Williams III and Hillsdale Mayor Michael Sheinfield are expected to attend.
Residents are invited to attend and help mark the occasion. For more information, call the church office at (201) 664-5231, email churchoffice@hillsdaleunited.org, or visit hillsdaleumc.org.
Note: Our print edition of April 27 gave the date of the event as Saturday, May 3. The correct day of the week for that date is Sunday. We regret the error.
