HILLSDALE—A special meeting of the mayor and council of the Borough of Hillsdale is set for Thursday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. The governing body will convene to appoint an individual to fill Republican member Abby Lundy’s recently vacated council seat. Formal action may or may not be taken during this meeting. The meeting agenda and relevant documents will be available in advance on the Borough’s website under Government/Agendas & Minutes.
The special meeting was called pursuant to the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act. This meeting is open to the public; subject to the applicable provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. Seq).
Notices of this meeting were emailed and provided to Pascack Press, Ridgewood News, The Record, and Community Life on Aug, 27, 2024. In addition, copies of said notices were posted on the borough website and filed in the office of the municipal clerk on the aforementioned date.
