HACKENSACK, N.J.—On Oct. 23, Bergen County officials, along with the Bergen County Division of Community Development, held the 2019 Homebuyer Expo at Two Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack, N.J. More than 200 people attended the exhibition which featured helpful information on the home buying/homeownership experience.
Approximately 40 exhibitors participated in this event, including local realtors, banks, mortgage companies, credit counselors, home inspectors, and other experts in the real estate field.
The Exhibitors were available to answer questions ranging from how to obtain a mortgage all the way through to the steps needed to maintain and improve a new home once purchased. In addition to the exhibits, classes on various aspects of home buying were held for the attendees.
