TAPPAN, N.Y.—Joe D’Urso and Halmar International present the sixth Rockland-Bergen Music Festival with performances by Steve Earle & The Dukes and Americana legend John Prine at German Masonic Park.

RBMF serves as Prine’s only area performance this summer. Prine recently sold out Capitol Theater, Beacon Theater and Radio City Music Hall.

“When I started RBMF, I hoped to bring the best songwriters to the Rockland/Bergen area,” says Joe D’Urso. “I had a few  ‘goal’ songwriters in mind and I am proud to present John and Steve as they were the  ‘goal’ folks I was thinking about!”

Sixteen charities will be on site under the banner of “Active’s Circle of Hope” sponsored by Active International.

“I joke that the RBMF is my inner Harry Chapin and Pete Seeger exploding,” said D’Urso.

RBMF starts Wednesday, June 19 at Levity Live in West Nyack with the Rockland County Music Awards. The next two days take place at  ‘76 House and The Turning Point. Featured acts are School of Rock Orangeburg, Foxfires, Bach to Rock, McMule, Scott Wolfson & Other Heroes and The Slippery Chickens.

June 22 and June 23 at German Masonic Park features Willie Nile, Donna The Buffalo, James Maddock, Joe D’Urso & Stone Caravan, Guy Davis, Jeffrey Gaines, Roues Brothers, Tim O’Donohue and others and includes full length concerts from Steve Earle & The Dukes and John Prine.

New to RBMF this year: City Winery Wines, Rockland County Beer Garden and The Capitol Theater (giving out promotional tickets!).
