HAWORTH, N.J.—The Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception Council 9021 of Norwood, will hold its annual Oktoberfest Dinner on Friday, Oct. 23, at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 102 Park St.
The “Best of the Wurst” dinner features several varieties of premium wursts, potato salads, Oktoberfest beer, wine, soda, coffee, tea and desserts.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $5 for children under 13, with a maximum cost of $70 per family. Reservations are requested in advance. Immaculate Conception Council 9021 has served Catholic parishes in Old Tappan, Haworth, Norwood, River Vale and Northvale since 1985 and has 147 members. Its Oktoberfest dinner is among several annual fundraisers, including the Halfway to St. Pat’s Dinner, Shield Awards Dinner, Lenten Fish Fry and Pasta Dinner.
Proceeds benefit local parishes and communities, Knights charitable projects, men and women pursuing religious vocations and Ukrainian Knights through Knights of Columbus Charities. Over the past 10 years, the council says its events have raised approximately $300,000 for charitable causes.
Its 2026 efforts also include the Knights’ Food for Families program, donations to local parishes, support for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and Culture of Life initiatives, including its annual Baby Bottle Drive benefiting pregnancy crisis centers.
The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic fraternal and service organization with more than 2 million members. Its charitable efforts include support for Special Olympics, persecuted Christians in the Middle East, Habitat for Humanity, Coats for Kids and the Global Wheelchair Mission.
