Montvale Clean-Up Day April 13

The Montvale Environmental Commission and Montvale Boy Scout Troop 334, Cub Scout Pack 336, the Montvale Girl Scouts, and the Montvale Senior Club are organizing and look forward to organizing in the annual Montvale Clean-Up Day.

Montvale, along with 14 other municipalities within Bergen and Rockland counties, will come together for the Bi-State Watershed Clean-Up.

The group in Montvale will start with coffee, juice, and bagels—donated by Montvale Dunkin’ Donuts on Chestnut Ridge Road and Wegmans—and then spread out into groups to clean waterways and public land throughout the borough. You’re invited on Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. at the Red Shed on Memorial Drive across from the Fire Department. All will receive gloves and garbage bags. First arrivers will receive commemorative T-shirts. Last year’s volunteers cleared 1,000 pounds of trash from the watershed.
