RIVER VALE, N.J. — A little rain couldn’t put a damper on River Vale Day, which brought families and neighbors together Sunday at the Mark Lane Sports Complex for an afternoon packed with community activities.
The annual celebration featured rides and inflatables, food and vendors, live music, local organizations, cheerleaders, martial arts, robots, a stilt walker and more.
The Pascack Valley Panthers Band helped kick off the festivities, while Kover Up! provided live music. A light rain arrived about three-quarters of the way through the event, but by then residents had already enjoyed hours of activities — and the celebration carried on despite the raindrops.
We’ll have more from River Vale Day in an update. In the meantime, enjoy these photos of the day by Pascack Press editor John Snyder!
