RIVER VALE, N.J.—The Township of River Vale invites you to Town Day at Mark Lane Sports Complex on Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On the day’s program are food, games, free rides, a petting zoo, a DJ and live entertainment, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a stilt walker, presentations by school and town groups, merchants, and much more.
Parking is at Holdrum Middle School and Town Hall.
That’s the date as well for the town’s Third Annual Bake Off, with contestants having a tough act to follow from last year’s entries. Register at culturalaffairsasst@rivervalenj.org.
Looking ahead, the Annual Ragamuffin Costume Parade is set for Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. Meet in costume at the 7-Eleven at Rivervale Road and Westwood Avenue. The group will walk to Roberge Elementary School for a party. A magician and the Rockers dance team will perform.
