Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 87th season with “Beat Bugs: A Musical Adventure,” based on the Netflix Original Series “Beat Bugs,” created by Josh Wakely and written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinanti.
The play is directed by Ray Yucis and will run now through Dec. 22. Performances will take place at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, with a curtain on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and two matinees on Saturdays and Sundays, at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling (201) 261-4200 or by visiting the box office during regular box office hours.
Featuring music made famous by The Beatles, the entire family will enjoy this new musical adaptation based on the Netflix animated series which centers around five pals who explore the world and learn life lessons. Kids ages 3 through 10 will love the story, while parents and grandparents will thrill to the music of their youth as the show incorporates numerous songs from the Beatles iconic catalogue including “All You Need is Love,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “Yellow Submarine.”
