To the editor:
I have lived in Montvale for over 47 years and am a longtime registered Republican. Three years ago, I voted for Democrat Elizabeth Gloeggler when she ran for a seat on the Montvale Borough Council. I have known Elizabeth for most of her life and I had no doubt the hard work, energy and dedication she has put into every aspect of her life would be exactly what Montvale needed. She proved me right and Elizabeth has earned my vote for a second term.
As a Montvale councilwoman and current council president she has worked tirelessly to ensure that residents have a voice and to bring fresh ideas to the table. She has listened to residents’ concerns and taken action with respect to quality of life issues, recreation improvement, road projects, and much more.
As a member of the borough’s Finance Committee she has helped to improve the budget planning process and strengthen the borough’s finances, resulting in no increase in municipal taxes for the past two years.
I encourage you to vote on Nov. 5 and to re-elect Elizabeth Gloeggler to the Montvale Borough Council.
