Easter Egg Hunt was big fun in Englewood Cliffs

Over 100 children came out to join the fun!

On Saturday, April 13, the Englewood Cliffs Recreation Department held its seventh annual Easter Egg Hunt. Over 100 children and their parents scoured the woods next to Witte Field to find and fill their Easter baskets with brightly colored eggs. Among the hundreds of eggs scattered around the woods, there were a few gold ones that lucky treasure hunters found and traded in for chocolate Easter bunnies.

The Easter Egg Hunt was directed by Councilwoman Ellen Park and Rashard Casey with assistance from several volunteers. The fun and festive event was attended by many families and council members, including Park, Ed Aversa and Gloria Oh, as well as Mayor Mario Kranjac and his wife Nancy.  And, of course, the Easter bunny was on hand for high-fives and photo ops.

It was a great day for kids in Englewood Cliffs, when the Easter Bunny came to visit on April 13.
Volunteers assisted the Easter Bunny in helping spread sweet treats and eggs.
