GO LOCAL: It’s all-you-can-eat chili at fundraiser

[slideshow_deploy id=’899′]HILLSDALE, NEW JERSEY —— On Saturday, Feb. 10, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hillsdale will hold its Sixth Annual Chili Cook Off and Silent Auction. For the past half-decade, this event has been one of the community’s favorite gatherings with more than 100 attendees each of the last four years and a dozen chili chefs vying for the coveted “Holy Jalapeno Award.”

The event will run from 6-9:30 p.m. in Behringer Hall (the Parish Hall of Holy Trinity) located at 326 Hillsdale Ave. in Hillsdale.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children, and include voting rights in the competition, unlimited chili tasting, various other food and soft drinks, and access to a Silent Auction featuring donations from local businesses and sponsors as well as the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils. Attendees of legal drinking age are welcomed to bring their own beer, wine, and/or cider.
