Kids Can Explore Science In the Pascack Valley Tuesday at Local Museum

PARK RIDGE, N.J.—Parents, are you looking for activities to keep the kids occupied during the final week of summer break?

The Pascack Historical Society invites children in grades one through five and their families to its next special program, “Explorations: Science in the Pascack Valley.”

This program, a popular one in the Society’s award-winning Pascack Adventures program, is set for Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 1–3 p.m. Children should be pre-registered for this program by calling (201) 573-0307 or emailing info@pascackhistoricalsociety.org.

At “Explorations,” children will: find out how dinosaurs lived in the Pascack Valley; learn why shells were once so important in our local community; discover how electricity was used and play a game to explore; design and fly a paper airplane; and enjoy photography.

Children who have previously attended Pascack Adventures programs are reminded to bring their History Passports for stamping.

The Pascack Historical Society is at 19 Ridge Ave., Park Ridge. For additional information log onto www.pascackhistoricalsociety.org. Never miss out on an event! “Like” the Pascack Historical Society on Facebook for program updates.
