Man Accused of Murdering Elderly Parents

ENGLEWOOD, N.J.—An Englewood man is accused of murdering his 72-year-old parents inside the Lafayette Place home they shared.

Police found victims Edward Boduch and Miroslawa Potocka dead from multiple stab wounds on Feb. 16 after conducting a welfare check at the request of a family member who was unable to reach them for multiple days.

Their single, unemployed son, who was the third resident of the home, was not home at the time when police discovered the bodies.

Pawel M. Boduch, 43, was located by detectives later in the day. He was later charged with two counts of first degree murder.

Pawel M. Boduch is also facing charges of third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
