HARRINGTON PARK, N.J.—On Aug. 29, at about 3 a.m., actors unknown entered the unsecured garage of a home on Bogerts Mill Road and absconded with a 2017 BMW.
The stolen auto was recovered several days later in Irvington, New Jersey, having sustained body damage.
The Harrington Park Police Department reiterates the importance of properly securing all motor vehicles, to include the removal of the key fob from the vehicle, and ensuring that the doors are locked. In addition, it is imperative that the key fob is not located within close proximity of the motor vehicle.
