To the editor:
The one subject that is not discussed by council and mayoral candidates during this or any election season is how to reduce costs and cut taxes.
Everyone knows our property taxes are too high but no one discusses how to address this.
Realizing that politicians will not address this, and many look to preserving jobs, especially for ones benefiting from nepotism, I would like to see an interborough commission created to look into this, either sanctioned or unsanctioned.
