Set in the roaring 1920s in the windy city, Roxie Hart (played by Elizabeth Venezia) murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos (Dylan Cometa), to take the rap.

Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly (Alex Humphreys), vie for the spotlight before joining forces to search for what’s billed as the “American Dream”—fame, fortune and acquittal.

The cast and crew continued a proud tradition of all school musicals at Old Tappan, which offer not just actors, dancers and singers a chance to star on stage, but also roles for students in production, stage design, lighting and all elements of a professional theater experience.
