To the editor:
This November, Westwood will elect a new mayor for this first time in 12 years. I am writing to endorse Jodi Murphy for mayor, Lea Simone and Iraj Hastings for Westwood council.
I believe Jodi Murphy is the right candidate to continue all the good work that John Birkner accomplished with his time as mayor. In Jodi’s time on the council she has proven to be a voice of reason and always votes with the best interest of all Westwood residents.
Iraj Hastings is smart, energetic and always full of great insight. Iraj will bring a new perspective and is the kind of person that Westwood would be lucky to have on council.
In Lea Simone I have seen firsthand the great ideas she has brought to the Brookside PTO, and with her experience as an educator she will be a great addition to Westwood council.
On Election Day, vote for Jodi Murphy, Lea Simone, and Iraj Hastings, who will continue to make Westwood a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
