To the editor:
I have been a resident of Tenafly for 43 years, and have seen the good times and the bad.
However, after a heavy snow storm a few years ago after my people plowed my driveway, the DPW came along and plowed me back in.
When I called DPW they said I should “call the Mayor”… Well, I did. And, to my surprise, 20 minutes later, who should appear in my driveway plowing me out? Our Mayor Peter Rustin.
Above and beyond, he is truly an independent man of the people and another reason why I love this town.
