To the editor:
We could not be more grateful. Thank you Westwood. Over the last four months of the campaign, and the previous years we have served the borough, it has been our honor to get to know what you, the resident citizens of Westwood, wanted to see in your governing body.
We heard a great deal of concerns about taxes, overdevelopment, and public safety. Our promise to you, now that you have entrusted us with your confidence, is to focus on those things that we heard on the campaign trail on your behalf.
We may have run on the Republican ticket, but we represent all of Westwood. Thank you to all the people that endorsed us. Independent, Republican, and Democrat. Those labels do not define you. Your love of Westwood is what matters.
We hope you will join us on the journey of making our borough even better. Representative democracy is best when the most people are involved. Attend meetings, join a board, or volunteer if possible.
